My story

I'm originally from Vernon, though Nelson has been my home for nearly half my life, where I'm raising my two children and rooted in community.

My journey of self-discovery began over 25 years ago when, at 18, I traveled to India to study yoga and meditation and to discover who I was beyond the world I'd grown up in. At 23, a serious health crisis during my bodywork studies in Costa Rica pulled me into a far deeper path. A near-death experience and the spontaneous healing that followed, from an autoimmune disorder, opened me to the transformative power of awareness practices and healing therapies. Since then, my life has been a continuous unfolding of learning, growth, and service as a facilitator, teacher, mother, and active community member.

For over 25 years, I have walked a devoted path of inquiry, healing, and service. I have guided individuals and groups through deeply transformational journeys, creating and holding sacred space with a robust toolkit of embodied practices, training, and lived experience. I am passionate about co-creating spaces of deep listening that reveal the wonders, wisdom, and guidance within each person.

The medicine and my teacher

My relationship with the grandmother medicine began 20 years ago, and I met my core teacher, Doña Cristina, 15 years ago. Her transmissions are rooted in the Quechua-mestizo tradition. The sacred songs, the land, and Cristina's way of holding space carry a profound vibration of harmony and health, and have nurtured in me an unshakeable trust in the power of love to hold, heal, and integrate all that arises. It is a deep honour to share this work and enter this journey with you.
